Mur peint « Blake et Mortimer »

These two mounted canvases represent the heroes of the Belgian author Edgar P Jacobs. on the left P. Blake, member of MI15 and on the right his friend Philip Edgar Argus Mortimer, professor of nuclear physics created in 1946.

After his death in 1989, the series was taken over by many screenwriters and designers: Bob de Moor, Jean Van Hamme, Ted Benoit, Yves Sente, André Juillard, René Sterne, Chantal de Spiegeleer, Aubin Fréchon...
This painted wall is signed by Yves Sente (screenwriter) and André Juillard (drawer) who together produced 5 of the adventures of Blake and Mortimer.
André Juillard received the prize for best album at the Angoulême international comics festival in 1995 for “Le notebook bleu”. He received the grand prize in 1996.
Fresco created in 2000 by the association of muralists “Cité Création”.
