Mur peint « Les coulisses du théâtre »

At the back of the theater, facing the former artists' entrance, here is "Les Coulisses du Théâtre", the four-handed work of designers Philippe Dupuy and Charles Berberian.

The contrasting colors, gray, black and red, reflect the backstage atmosphere of a theater plunged into darkness while a beam of light highlights the artist on stage.
Philippe Dupuy and Charles Berberian met in 1983. They published their first comic book in 1985 and never stopped working together. Their flagship series is “Monsieur Jean”. Volume 4 of the series, “Let's live happily without appearing to be so”, received the prize for best album at the Angoulême festival in 1999. They received the grand prize of the festival in 2008. Dupuy and Berberian are also illustrators . Great travelers, they published several travel diaries.
Fresco created in 2006 by the association of muralists “Cité Création”.
