Théâtre d’Angoulême Scène Nationale

Why we love

The Théâtre d'Angoulême is part of the network of national stages. A multidisciplinary place, it affirms its attachment to theatre, dance, circus arts, classical music, jazz with particular attention to children and young people.

Magnificently renovated in 1997 by the architects Valentin Fabre and Jean Perrottet, the Théâtre d'Angoulême - national scene has 3 performance halls: the Grande Salle, the Studio Bagouet and the Odéon. Old architecture and contemporary furnishings give this place a unique and warm character.
About fifty shows are presented each season to which is added a festival of shows for children and young people: Head in the Clouds in March.
